“I came to Devecto to work as a software designer straight from school about two years ago. At the moment, I’m working with a customer project that develops an energy measurement device. My job consists of developing an automation testing environment and running the automation tests.

A few days a week I work at the customer’s location. Even there I feel a part of the group: I consider the other members of the team as my co-workers. When working as a team, it’s necessary to be able to express your ideas and to pass on information to your co-workers.

The best part of my job is the versatility. The learning curve is always steep at the beginning of a new project. Some of our clients are technology companies, and when working with them we can develop groundbreaking technological innovations, which is very exciting.

Devecto trusts the expertise and discretion of its employees. I trust that if there are any problems, my senior colleagues will help me. We encourage knowledge and skill sharing in every way. If one person has an exceptionally wide knowledge on some subject, we will invite them to teach others in internal trainings. The fiercest battles are always settled on PlayStation, with the most recent FIFA game.

At Devecto, I can carry out exciting projects and I have a lot of influence on what my work consists of. I want to be part of taking Devecto forwards.”
